WORKING ON THE PARCEL FOR OUR TURKISH FRIENDS

 

 

 We are Marianna, Moufakir, Valeria, Salvatore, Francesco

 

We worked on making material on our Carnival, making hanmade masks, buying typical Italian sweets, writing about the Befana, and many other things. We hope they liked!

 

THE LOGO CONTEST .....AND THE ....WINNER IS...

During the music activity where each country introduced a song where there were terms related to food and after that we filled the grid, we had the logo contest: they were all beautiful especially those made by the art schools: give them a look! Are not they fantastic?
Which one you like? Which one won? The first one made by Hungarian student Roland!

THE PARCEL FROM SPAIN

It was a great day when we received the parcel from Spain. They were sweet boys and girls.
We all missed them. The hosting families are still in touch with them.
We received many sweets and many cards. They explained the Xmas holydays in their country. They sent many handmade cards. It was fun when we opened the parcel.   It is very nice to receive presents from other countries. We learnt a lot from what they wrote about their country. they sent also CD of xmas songs.

PROGRAM ACTIVITY: VISIT TO BISIGNANO THE MUSIC TOWN

The town of Bisignano was partner of our program activities and they planned the visit to famous lutist of their town and we visited the lutist workshop.
Our partners had a warm welcome and liked very much what the mayor and his councellors planned. We also had the chance to hear young talented musicians to play lute and lyra and accordion, for the partners. It was a special activity that we all liked.

When the package arrived I was very curious because I had never seen

the songs and typical food of Spain.It has been a wonderful experience.

  Receiving the package by Spanish partner really was a nice surprise...There were so many things:Christmas calendar,chocolates,homemade sweets.

IT WAS VERY NICE TO RECEIVE THE WINTER PARCEL FROM SPAIN. WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THERE WAS INSIDE: GREAT SURPRISE)):!!

 

LOTS OF SWEETS AND HANDMADE CARDS, INFORMATION ABOUT XMAS AND THEIR COUNTRY. WE CALLED THE HEADMSTER TO BE WITH US WHEN WE OPENED THE PARCEL! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!
